The pleasant call operative quoted me 59 call out fee and 20 for the window lock. The (friendly) technician charged me 120 because he had to use a special drill plus 60 for the new lock plus VAT. The work seemed satisfactory, even though there was no attempt to remove the broken lock or clean up the debris afterwards. When I queried it later on the phone I was told 'prices start from 20. Prices seemed designed to confused, and I was not happy at the total amount of 216 after what I was quoted, and the lack of transparency.
