Lovely place, food great, but, service not so much, had to wait a good 15 minutes for last 2 mains to be served when other 6 diners had almost finished; go to bar and ask for table to be cleared , and then again to ask for the bill. Was not busy, being a week night.... 7pm.
Wonderful food, good service and nice atmosphere keeps me coming back. And great vegan choices too. Highly recommended

A bit of a Trek from the car park for anyone elderly, but very quaint pub and excellent food.
Been one of my favourite destinations for some time. Excellent food and service with a varied menu and additional specials. Relaxed atmosphere in comfortable pub surroundings. Parking is a slight problem in inclement weather, since not adjacent to the premises. Also not hugely elderly/infirm friendly with steep stairs to negotiate.
